Actelis Networks® is led by an executive team of industry leaders with successful track records in telecommunications companies such as 3Com, ADC, Adtran, Alcatel, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, Intel and Motorola, as well as pre-IPO companies.

Vivek Ragavan
President and Chief Executive Officer
Vivek Ragavan is a network industry veteran and seasoned entrepreneur with more than 25 years of high-technology leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Actelis, Mr. Ragavan was CEO of Atrica, a carrier-Ethernet company acquired by Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008. Mr. Ragavan was also CEO at Redback Networks and Siara Systems, which merged with Redback in 2000. Previously, Mr. Ragavan was the President of the Residential Broadband Group of ADC Telecommunications, Inc. At ADC, he was responsible for ADC's $300 million telecommunication equipment businesses focused on the broadband communication access and transport markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ragavan led development of General Instrument’s leading digital video transport system, which powered the growth of cable TV’s video and data services penetration. He has a BSEE from Northwestern University and an MSEE from Cornell University.

Ioannis Kanellakopoulos, Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer
Ioannis Kanellakopoulos is responsible for next-generation networks technology strategy and development, including standards activities and intellectual property. Prior to joining Actelis, he provided consulting services in intellectual property and new technology development, primarily to technology companies in the communications, consumer electronics, and semiconductor sectors. He was previously with Tymphany Corporation from 2003 to 2005, where he served as vice president of engineering, and with Voyan Technology from 2000 to 2003, where he served as Chief Scientist for Control and later as president. Prior to joining Voyan, he was professor and vice chair in the electrical engineering department at UCLA.

Dr. Kanellakopoulos co-authored the book, "Nonlinear and Adaptive Control Design," and over 80 technical papers in highly selective scientific journals and conferences. He is also a co-inventor on eight issued and six filed patents, and his research contributions have been recognized through several awards. Dr. Kanellakopoulos received his diploma from the National Technical University of Athens in 1987, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989 and 1992, all in electrical engineering.

Eric Vallone
Vice President, Marketing
Eric Vallone is responsible for setting the direction of Actelis’ product portfolio, as well introducing its products to the market. Mr. Vallone started his career as an engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories implementing network management solutions. Prior to joining Actelis, he was director of product management and marketing at ADTRAN, responsible for all carrier network products, including their multiservice access platforms, optical multiplexers, DSLAMs and HDSL solutions. Vallone also served as director of product management at Paradyne Networks, where he managed several product lines, including business class and residential CPE, Voice-over-IP and VoATM products and network management solutions. Mr. Vallone has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from SUNY Stony Brook, a master’s in computer science from Columbia University, and an MBA from Purdue University. He holds several patents on service level management and network troubleshooting.

Joe Manuele
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Customer Support
Bringing more than 22 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industries to Actelis, Joe Manuele is responsible for all customer-facing functions, including sales and customer support. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Manuele held executive positions at Adtran, Sycamore Networks, and Cisco Systems. His vast international experience includes managing sales and support organizations in Canada, Europe, and Latin America. He holds a degree in computer sciences from CDI in Montreal, and is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Danit Neeman
Associate Vice President, Finance & Accounting, Corporate
Bringing more than 10 years of telecom and financial industry experience to Actelis, Danit Neeman is responsible for the overall Finance and Administration Management functions, including financial planning and execution of budgets, processes and efficiencies, as well as Human Resources. Prior to joining Actelis, Ms. Neeman was a worldwide controller at Sheer Networks Inc., a networking company that was acquired by Cisco Systems. At Sheer Networks Inc., she was responsible for the overall financial and reporting activities of the company and its subsidiaries worldwide. Previous experience also includes managerial positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young as a financial auditor of high-tech companies. Ms. Neeman is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Israel and in the U.S. She holds a BA in accounting and economics from Tel-Aviv University and an LLM in Law from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

Ze’ev Rom
Vice President, Finance & Administration, Site Manager, Israel
Bringing more than 15 years of experience to Actelis, Ze’ev Rom is the Site Manager of Actelis' corporate office located in Petach-Tikva, Israel, where he is responsible for Finance and Administration Management functions, including financial planning and execution of budgets, processes and efficiencies, as well as Human Resources. Prior to joining Actelis, Mr. Rom was head of the Finance department at Teledata Networks Ltd, a high-speed communications company, where he was responsible for all finance activities of the company and its subsidiaries worldwide. He also served as a controller at D&B Israel, responsible for the accounting department.  Mr. Rom holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics from Bar-IIan University in Israel.

Shimon Kringel
Vice President, Operations
With more than two decades of experience in manufacturing, operations and engineering that includes manufacturability, value engineering, continuous improvement initiatives and cost-savings activities, Shimon Kringel is responsible for managing Actelis’ operations from the company’s Petach-Tikva, Israel corporate office. In this role Mr. Kringel has responsibility for Supply Chain, Quality, Production Engineering, NPI and IT/IS functions. Prior to joining Actelis in 1999, Mr. Kringel served as a software engineer at ECI Telecom (formerly Tadiran Telecom), where he was responsible for developing and integrating hardware and software of high-speed telecommunication devices (ATM, Ethernet, T1/E1 and ISDN). Mr. Kringel has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from OU in Israel.
