Actelis Networks’ Craig Easley Re-Elected to Metro Ethernet Forum Board of Directors

Noted Carrier Ethernet Evangelist Brings Industry Expertise to the MEF Board;
Begins Third Term as Leader of the Ethernet Access Initiative

Fremont, CA, July 27, 2006 - Actelis Networks®, the leading provider of Carrier Ethernet over Copper™ networking equipment, today announced that Craig Easley, the company's Associate Vice President of Marketing, has been elected to the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)'s Board of Directors. As a long time advocate for Carrier Ethernet and Ethernet in the First Mile access, Mr. Easley will play a key role in shaping the vision for Carrier Ethernet. This election marks Easley's third term as a member of the MEF Board and is a testament to the rapid growth of Ethernet access technology and Actelis' industry leadership.

The Metro Ethernet Forum is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Carrier- class Ethernet networks and services worldwide. The organization publishes technical specifications in addition to conducting market development activities designed to increase the awareness of and market for Ethernet services.

Mr. Easley previously served on the MEF Board of Directors from 2003 to 2005, leaving the Board briefly as a result of departing a member company. In May 2006, he joined Actelis' management team to help further the company's mission to accelerate the adoption of Carrier Ethernet over Copper as the leaders of the sector. Easley is also the former President and Chairman of the Board of the Ethernet in the First Mile Alliance.

Following the election, which was held at the organization's annual member's meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, Mr. Easley was chosen as the MEF Treasurer during the Board of Directors meeting. As such, he will be responsible for managing the finances of the organization.
