Pre-Sales & Customer Support Engineer - Europe
Candidates for this position must be based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and be fluent in German and English.
Actelis Networks, a leading global provider of network connectivity solutions for smart cities/public agencies, utilities, intelligent transportation, and telcos is looking for a Pre-Sales & Customer Support Engineer responsible for providing technical solutions for our European customers focusing on DACH region, central Europe and the Nordics.
Our hybrid copper/fiber/COAX secured connectivity solutions are found in over 40 countries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
- Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners
- Participate in meetings with existing & potential customers.
- Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products
- Understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer
- Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Ability to demonstrate Actelis products and technologies effectively to a deep technical level
Candidate Profile:
- Familiar with Fixed Access products such as GPON, EPON, & xDSL etc.
- Deep knowledge in xDSL technologies: G.hn, G.SHDSL, ADSL, VDSL, & G.fast
- Good working knowledge of Internet connectivity methods including xDSL and fiber.
- Strong working experience in (TCP/IP v4 and v6, routing, and switching, QoS).
- Comfortable working with hosting technologies including Windows and Linux
- Working knowledge of current security issues and technologies concerning the industry.
- Strong business and technical skills.
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-learner and well organized
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet the tight deadlines
- Preference for a candidate located in Germany or one of the DACH countries
Education Background:
- Bachelor or above in telecommunications or Computer Science related
- Working experience: 3-5 years of customer support and pre-sales
- Telecommunication & IoT Industries, familiar with fixed Network business and technology
- Computer skills: familiar with MS office tools, strong on Excel & PowerPoin
Language ability:
- Fluent in German & English, good communication capability. Other languages an advantage.
