Actelis Networks 3G/4G Small Cell Backhaul Solutions give service providers the key to optimizing time to market and cost for small cell builds, getting bandwidth where it is needed more quickly and cost effectively.
Actelis’ Small Cell Backhaul solutions offer MEF CE2.0 compliant Carrier Ethernet services that easily provide the 20 – 80 Mbps that operators require at most small cells today, and already scale into the 100s of Mbps for the future. Based on the ML600 and ML700 series of G.SHDSL and VDSL2-based Ethernet over Copper platforms, Actelis’ solution is compatible with third-party DSLAMs and with Actelis ML2300/ML230 series aggregation platforms, which terminate up to 256 copper pairs of bonded copper high speed links originating from downstream EADs.
Bonding up to 16 pairs using G.SHDSL or up to 8 pairs using VDSL2, the Actelis solution supports synchronous and asynchronous transmission and provides up to 6 Ethernet ports for backhauling traffic from 3G/4G microcells/picocells/femtocells and collocated WiFi access points.
Environmentally hardened enclosures are wall, pole, or strand mountable, and can optionally be bolted to an outdoor cabinet. Transport and power can be integrated into one small enclosure, with line powering fed from a CO and transport provided from a CO or remote cabinet.
