Actelis Networks and OneAccess Team Up to Accelerate Delivery of Advanced Broadband Services

FREMONT, Calif.,

and PARIS, October 25, 2010 - Actelis Networks®, the leading global supplier of Ethernet over copper solutions, and OneAccess, the world number two in branch office routers, today announced a strategic alliance that will offer service providers the industry’s most complete portfolio of network access equipment for the delivery of advanced managed voice and high-speed data services. In creating this strategic alliance, Actelis and OneAccess will focus upon delivering more rapid service rollout, greater service agility and coverage, improved service margins, and a more satisfying customer experience. Service providers will benefit from the combined portfolio of award-winning, field-proven Ethernet access aggregation and customer premises equipment, routers, and simplified network management. Both companies will work together on promoting the alliance products into the market and coordinate the joint development of new products.

Actelis, long recognized as the global leader in Ethernet over bonded copper solutions, has a rich history in helping service providers and enterprises leverage their existing assets to deliver advanced broadband services with symmetrical rates of 100Mbps over existing copper lines. This is accomplished using Actelis’ unique EFMplus™ and DRB (dynamic rate boost) capabilities, which accelerate superior network performance and coverage. OneAccess’ multiservice routers and Ethernet Access Devices (EADs) leverage high-speed Ethernet services, advanced Layer 3 capabilities, and value-added services to enable the delivery of managed and cloud-based voice and data services. Major European carriers, in particular, rely upon OneAccess’ mass-customization capabilities to co-develop solutions specific to strategic, large-scale service deployments.

“This is a strategic collaboration focused on growing market opportunities, and we are pleased to bring together two of the industry’s most savvy, innovative technology companies,” said Vivek Ragavan, president and CEO of Actelis Networks. “Together, Actelis and OneAccess are helping service providers to quickly and economically deliver more services, to more customers, with greater rates, reach and reliability.”

“Actelis and OneAccess share a common vision of developing leading-edge products that accelerate cost-effective, innovative service delivery and differentiation for our valued service provider and enterprise customers,” said Bertrand Meis, chief executive officer at OneAccess. “Because of this strategic alliance with Actelis, our customers will see greater opportunity to extend more value-added services to their entire subscriber bases.”

Actelis currently has more than 200 service provider customers across 40 countries, while OneAccess serves more than 110 operators located in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. This strategic alliance will accelerate broadband deployments and network performance for voice, wireless and managed services, as well as other business-class services that include replacing outdated E1 lines.

Both companies will be exhibiting at Broadband World Forum Europe in Paris (October 26-28 at CNIT La Defense). Actelis will be in Stand H6 and OneAccess will be located in Stand H2.
