Actelis Networks Announces Continued Product Innovation

Actelis’ MetaLIGHT Solution Works Seamlessly with Fiber to
provide ubiquitous Metro Ethernet Services

CHICAGO, IL, June 6, 2005 - Actelis Networks® Inc.,
a worldwide leader delivering solutions that enable profitable, carrier-grade
broadband services over local-loop copper, today announced continued product
innovation of its successful MetaLIGHT® platform with demos planned across
the floor as well as informative presentations and discussions at Supercomm
2005 taking place in Chicago, IL June 6-9.

Actelis Networks in Booth 78018 will be unveiling its newest enhancements
to the MetaLIGHT platforms. Two optical ports have been added to enable
the system to work seamlessly with fiber infrastructure. The MetaLIGHT with
its
switching capabilities can be joined directly with fiber to form a ring
network configuration. This solution uses standards-based Ethernet and avoids
the
need to deploy Ethernet access switches in the Central Offices to deliver
Ethernet over copper services, if such switches are not already available
there.

Actelis will take part in the world’s first demonstration of Carrier
Ethernet in the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) pavilion (48085). The MetaLIGHT
platform will be an integral part of the largest ever interoperability
SuperDemo that is showcasing 30 members of the MEF. High performance broadband
Internet Access service with a predictable and verifiable Service Level
is the mainstay of a Carrier’s Ethernet Services product offering.
Actelis with its partners T-Pack and Iometrics will demonstrate guaranteed
rate access and document the Service Levels using tests derived from the
MEF certification program.

The MetaLIGHT platform is also located in the Telecommunications Magazine
10 Hottest Technology Pavilion
(82015I) featuring its solution for copper
bonding to produce the highest rate, reach, and reliability in the industry.
The standards-based product, powered by Actelis’ patented MetaLOOP® technology
delivers over 70 Mbps of premium fiber-quality Ethernet over the existing
copper loop.

Actelis Networks is hosting an IEC panel presentation “Overcoming
Copper Limitations for Triple Play and Business Broadband”, Wednesday
at 12:30pm. Yossi Saad, vice president of Marketing and BD will moderate
a panel comprised of Michael Kennedy, Network Strategy Partners; Sameer
Sheth, Nortel Networks; Mark Guinther, Actelis Networks; and Aamir Hussein,
Qwest Communications. Additionally, Mark Guinther, Director of Marketing
will be presenting a Win-Win Scenario for Enterprises and Service Providers
and a Service Provider Case Study in the MEF pavilion on Tuesday at 12:30
and 2:30pm.

Actelis’ award-winning product portfolio enables system integrators,
service providers, and private network operators to use the existing copper
infrastructure to provide premium long-reach voice, video and data services
quickly and universally. Available in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint
configurations, Actelis' MetaLIGHT standards-based, Ethernet-over-Copper
platforms deliver up to 70 Mbps of high-quality Ethernet services to customers
or locations over the existing copper plant. Powered by Actelis' patented
MetaLOOP® technology, the Actelis' platforms provide far better rate,
reach and reliability than other Ethernet-over-Copper solutions. With the
ability to provide high-quality bandwidth to distances beyond 18,000 feet/5.5km,
Actelis' platforms are ideal to support a wide range of broadband applications
including transparent LAN services, LAN interconnection, and voice and
video over IP. They are also well suited to backhaul bandwidth to DSLAMs/NGDLCs,
WiFi and cellular base stations.
